What this policy covers
This policy describes how ReachAtlas handles information about visitors, account holders, and the business contacts listed in its database. It covers reachatlasleads.com and the ReachAtlas application. Privacy questions can be sent to support@reachatlasleads.com.
Stripe and other external services have their own privacy notices. Customers who download and use contact information are responsible for their subsequent use of that information.
Information we handle
Account information
Your email address, a password hash, account status, subscription plan, and credit balance. Passwords are hashed for authentication; we do not store them as readable passwords.
Billing & service activity
Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, payment-related webhook references, billing periods, credit grants and spending, unlocked record identifiers, and export timestamps and row counts. Saved lists, saved searches, and private notes are linked to your account.
Business directory information
Depending on the source record: a person’s name, professional title, work email, phone and phone type, professional profile link, verification information, and business location. Company records may include names, domains, websites, industry, employee ranges, revenue ranges, addresses, business phone numbers, profile links, services, and descriptions.
Requests & technical information
Privacy requests, support correspondence, and information you choose to send us. Our hosting and payment providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, request logs, and security events when providing their services.
Where information comes from
Account information comes from you. Billing identifiers and payment status come from Stripe. Saved searches, notes, and other workspace activity are created through your use of the application.
Business directory information is supplied through administrator-managed imports of business contact and company files from third-party sources. It is not supplied by account registration alone. The available fields and dates vary by source record. If you are listed and want to ask about a record’s source or accuracy, contact us with the relevant work email or company domain.
How information is used
- Authenticate accounts, provide the workspace, and protect access to account data.
- Process subscriptions, confirm payments, allocate credits, and track unlocked contacts.
- Provide business contact search, company context, saved lists, notes, and CSV downloads.
- Handle support, corrections, opt-outs, and other privacy requests.
- Investigate misuse, protect the service, and maintain billing and operational records.
Where a law requires a legal basis for processing, the applicable basis depends on the information and purpose, including performance of the account or subscription agreement, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, legal obligations, or consent where required. A business contact’s inclusion does not mean they consented to a customer’s marketing.
Access, sharing & paid directory data
Visitors and registered customers can see limited business record previews. Available email addresses, phone numbers, contact links, and extended record details are disclosed to customers who unlock a contact. Customers can download information they have unlocked and use it outside ReachAtlas.
ReachAtlas provides paid access to business contact information. This disclosure may be considered a sale of personal information under applicable privacy laws. You can request suppression of your matching contact record without creating an account through our privacy choices page.
We do not offer account credentials, private workspace notes, or saved searches as directory records. Authorized administration may access service data to operate the application and resolve issues. Information may also be disclosed where needed to comply with a legal obligation, protect rights or safety, or carry out a business transfer, subject to applicable requirements.
Service providers & storage
- Render: hosts the ReachAtlas application and its database storage.
- Stripe: provides checkout, payment processing, and the customer billing portal. Payment details are entered on Stripe’s hosted pages; ReachAtlas’s application database does not store full payment card numbers or card security codes. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
- IONOS: provides the support mailbox used for correspondence sent to support@reachatlasleads.com.
Providers may process information in countries other than yours. Their applicable service arrangements and privacy practices govern their handling of information. ReachAtlas does not currently provide a customer-selectable data residency location.
Cookies & browser storage
ReachAtlas uses an essential sign-in cookie to maintain your authenticated session. It is inaccessible to page scripts and is configured to expire after up to seven days; signing out clears the browser’s session cookie. Blocking this cookie prevents account features from working.
Your light or dark appearance preference is saved in this browser’s local storage. It is used to remember your display choice across visits; clearing browser storage removes it. On the first visit, the site uses your device’s color preference when available.
The current ReachAtlas application does not embed advertising pixels or third-party audience analytics. Stripe’s checkout and billing portal may use their own cookies and security technologies. Browser settings and privacy signals do not identify the work email record you want removed; use the privacy choices form to submit that record’s email address.
Retention & security
Account, billing, workspace, and directory records remain stored until removed through administrative action or a privacy request, subject to records needed for legal, accounting, security, or dispute purposes. The application does not currently apply a fixed automatic deletion period to these records.
Canceling a subscription does not delete an account. Archiving a contact removes it from new searches but can preserve access for previous unlocks. Suppression is different: matching contacts are excluded from search, viewing, exports, and future imports. A minimal suppression record is retained to help prevent reintroduction.
We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, and server-side authentication, role checks, and contact masking. These measures reduce risk; no online service can guarantee absolute security. Copies a customer has already downloaded are outside ReachAtlas’s direct control.
Your choices & privacy requests
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your information; object to or restrict processing; or opt out of certain sales or disclosures. Some rights have exceptions or require verification. These rights are not limited to paying customers.
Remove a matching directory record
Submit the work email listed in the record. The form adds it to our suppression list and blocks matching records from future access through ReachAtlas.
Manage privacy choices ↗For account deletion, access, corrections, or another request, email support@reachatlasleads.com. Include enough information to locate the record and explain your request. Do not send passwords or payment card details. We may request information to verify authority and will handle requests within the time required by applicable law.
If someone contacts you using previously exported data, you can also direct an objection or unsubscribe request to that sender. Where applicable, you may contact your privacy regulator or submit a complaint. California residents can learn about statutory rights through the California Attorney General’s privacy guidance.
Affiliate referrals & payouts
When you follow an affiliate link, a signed first-party referral cookie can retain attribution for 30 days. Approved annual codes may also attribute a purchase. We store referral relationships, subscription-linked commissions, and manual payout status history. Affiliate partners see masked customer emails, not full customer profiles.
Affiliate applications include your name, optional website, preferred payment method, and recipient email or reference. The owner reviews applications and processes payments outside the platform. Do not enter bank account numbers or payment passwords. Records are retained for administration, accounting, and dispute resolution; contact support for privacy requests.
Children & policy updates
ReachAtlas is intended for adult business users and is not directed to children. Contact us if you believe a child’s information has been submitted or appears in a record.
We may revise this policy as the service or its information practices change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on the site or communicated through available account contact details as appropriate.
